INTRODUCTION


  
    The Government of Belize has recognized, and has made considerable efforts in both financial and policy so that the need to provide more technical and vocational training within Belize is a high priority. Technical Vocational and Education and Training (TEVT) is through effective national planning and coordination is strengthening the training system within Belize.

    The objective of the project is to enhance the quality and capacity of the technical and vocational education and training TVET to satisfy the skilled manpower needs, at the intermediate level, of the various contributing economic sectors and to increase the access to a wider cross section of the population.

    The project will assist in addition to the provision of new and enhanced physical facilities modularised programmes to facilitate the training/retraining and certification of the existing employed labour force, the self employed, secondary school graduates, and unemployed who possess the necessary entry prerequisites.

    The competence and certification provided would enhance the earning capacity and social well being of those graduating from the programmes to be provided by facilitating upward mobility in jobs and greater success in their entrepreneurial endeavours.

Hummingbird Highway R.V. Park


New full service RV Park, the RV Park is located on the Hummingbird Highway, 9 miles west of Dangriga in the Stann Creek District of Belize. The site is an “Institute for Technical Vocational Education and Training”, with an emphasis on tourism and hospitality. The site comes complete with 24 hour security within a fenced and gated compound with full hookups. Electrical ground fault outlets 30 amps, dual water faucets with 2000 gallons reserve tanks and 4” dump pipes for black and gray water.
